Quantity Surveyor

An experienced Quantity Surveyor is required for a reputable Steel company based in Essex.

Duties:

• Managing packages.


• Dealing with variations.


• Meet clients commercial team regularly and form a working relationship.


• Attending pre-order meetings with the estimating team.


• Chasing payments and retentions.


• Overseeing projects' financial performances.


• Addressing any issues on performance at an early stage.

Job details

• Salary up to £70,000


• Minimum of 40 hours work per week


• Value of packages up to £50K - £2M


• Will be surveying up to 10-12 sites at once

The candidate:

• Must be keen and ambitious


• Experience in working for a steel company is a must
