Position: CNC Miller

Salary: Up to £40,000 depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 5pm; Fridays, 8am to 2pm

Job Description:

Are you a proficient CNC Miller seeking a fresh opportunity? Our client, a reputable Engineering & Technology firm with over 40 years of industry expertise, is actively searching for a CNC Miller to join their skilled manufacturing team.

In this role, you'll play a crucial part in setting up and operating various CNC milling machines, including those with up to 5 axes, to produce top-quality precision machined components.

The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm, and Fridays from 8am to 2pm.

Key Responsibilities for the CNC Machinist:

· Crafting precision components from diverse raw materials to meet the precise specifications outlined in engineering drawings.

· Ensuring the manufactured components adhere to strict quality standards using appropriate measuring equipment and conform to the individual component Inspection Schedule.

· Setting up and running CNC milling machines equipped with Haas/Fanuc-based CNC control or DMGMORI's CELOS (Siemens-based) control.

· Adhering to the company's Quality Management and Health and Safety protocols.

· Delivering quality output within set timelines.

Candidate Profile:

· Completion of a Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship.

· Prior experience in a precision engineering environment is essential.

· Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings and utilizing various measurement equipment.

· Proven experience as a CNC Miller, preferably with expertise in 5-axis machining and machining castings.

· Meticulous attention to detail.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
