Industrial Engineer

We are looking for a Maintenance Electrician to work on a permanent basis for a well-established company



The Package:


The salary for the Maintenance Electrician role is negotiable



You'll also receive other benefits which include the following:



The standard hours for this role are Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm



The Role:


As the Maintenance Electrician you will be responsible for performing the Maintenance Function at our Facility



You will also be tasked with:



  • Maintenance on factory machinery.

  • Installation of a variety of factory equipment and general site services.

  • Diagnosing and resolving electrical faults.

  • Equipment breakdown response, fault finding and repairs.

  • Planned and preventive maintenance.

    To inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair and to ensure compliance with codes.

  • Maintaining and keeping records of signed reports.

  • Responsible for completing all maintenance documentation.

  • Ensuring that all Health and Safety Rules and Regulations are being adhered to.



The Candidate:


To be the right person for the Maintenance Electrician role you will require:



  • Time served maintenance electrical technician.

  • City and Guilds qualification level 3 18th edition preferable

  • Preferably at least 5 years' experience in industrial Environment.

  • Knowledge of PLC, Inverter and Automation systems preferable

  • Able to work to the required regulatory and safety standards on own initiative, with minimum supervision within expected timescales.

  • Prepared to take strong ownership of tasks to ensure timely safe conclusions.

  • Good ‘hands on' experience of maintaining, installing, and modifying equipment.

  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.

  • Available to take part in a ‘Call out' system.

  • Knowledge both HV& LV systems



Desirable:



  • Ideally be located within proximity of the factory to respond to a call-out system.

  • Multiskilled Electrical/Mechanical Disciplines

  • Ideally have good knowledge of Panel building

  • Some knowledge of gas systems is preferable.

  • IPAF

  • Driving license

  • The capability of working on own initiative as well as using an organized approach and be a fully integrated member of a team.
