Sewing Machinist

Mego Employment is representing our client in the search for a talented Sewing Machinist to join their team.

This role is integral to the production process and involves various sewing operations, including lock stitching, hemming, overlocking, binding, cover stitching, and cup seaming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute sewing tasks according to specifications, selecting appropriate materials.


• Thread needles and adjust machine settings to meet sewing requirements.


• Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each job.


• Promptly report any faults or discrepancies to the team leader.


• Conduct quality control checks to ensure product excellence.


• Maintain accurate production records.


• Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Requirements:

• Experience in sewing with materials like Polyester, Foam, and Vinyl.


• Previous experience with industrial sewing machines preferred.
