£28,000 + Benefits

Our client is a multi faceted events venue and brewery In Kent who are looking for a Function & Weddings Coordinator to join their team on a full time basis.

As the Functions & Weddings Coordinator you will be responsible for managing the event from the initial enquiry to the end to end planning and delivery of a variety events including weddings, concerts, comedy shows and private parties.

Key Responsibilities


  • Handle all incoming enquiries and drive new venue hire sales
  • Liaise with the client throughout the whole process
  • End to end coordination and management of events
  • Manage all event logistics from ordering stock to liaising with external suppliers
  • Manage the internal and external event diary
  • Full event delivery on the day
  • Create proposals, invoices and negotiate rates
  • Take on duty supervisor responsibilities on event days on an ad hoc basis

Skills and Experience


  • Experience in 360 event management within a hotel or events venue
  • Experience in planning and delivering weddings is essential
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • An eye for quality and detail 
  • Organised and efficient approach to their workload 
  • Ability to be flexible and work some evenings and weekends
  • Positive and enthusiastic
