Electrical Maintenance Manager with PLC experience
Location: Hinckley

The benefits are as follows:

• Salary c£50,000 to £55,000 on experience


• Pension is a salary sacrifice scheme 5% employer contribution


• Working hours are 8am-5pm Monday to Friday


• Holidays are 24 days + 8 bank holidays


• Christmas and Summer Shutdown

Job Purpose:
Manage all aspects of maintenance and facilities, lead in-house manufacturing, provide technical support, and ensure efficiency.

Implement improvement projects, develop a cross-functional team, and manage departmental performance.

Technical Expertise Required:

• Experience managing technical functions.


• HNC or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.


• Familiarity with TS16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 18001 procedures.


• 18th Edition Electrical Certified.


• PLC Programming & Fault Finding (Siemens & Mitsubishi).


• Robot Programming and Integration.


• Man management skills


• Knowledge of controls and the Machinery Directive.


• Expertise in Preventive Maintenance Planning and lean manufacturing.


• Strong analytical and practical problem-solving skills.


• Financial awareness.


• Experience developing efficient maintenance and engineering systems.


• Comprehensive IT skills.


• Excellent written, and verbal communication, and presentation skills.


• Ability to challenge conventions and think laterally for continuous improvement.


• Responsible for NPI machine process introduction, work assignment, performance review, and departmental coordination.
