The hiring manager is looking for a candidate to be responsible for all administration in supporting the residential team in facilitating the delivery of all aspects of planned,programmed,reactive and other property maintenance.

To liaise with customers and approved contractors for property related matters and for appointments of work.

Key Accountabilities

  • To assist in preparation maintenance and reviewing approved contractors for major day to day maintenance work.

  • Appointment of contractors for specific works.

  • To liaise with customers in relation to property related matters.

  • Place orders for works using a bespoke computerised order system.

  • Ensure contractors are promptly and properly instructed.

  • Keeping records of all; works undertaken, further to satisfactory closure from the relevant team member.

  • Assist on payments for all property related invoices.

  • To order and administer scheme related requirements.

  • To assist in management and processing of communal buildings insurance claims.

  • To assist in all other administration and record keeping for the department as instructed.

  • Attendance at conferences, seminars, courses and exhibitions as required.

  • To carry out any other reasonable duties as specified form time to time by grange management.

  • Ensure compliance with and promotion of the organisations health and safety policy and legislation.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to environmentally friendly practices in line with the organisation's environmental sustainability strategy and relevant legislation.

Essential criteria:

  • Inbound and outbound customer service experience.

  • Understanding of general office procedures.

  • Demonstrable customer care skills.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Numerate and literate.

  • Ability to speak confidently to contractors and other specialists.

  • Proven customer service track record.

  • Interpersonal skills, working well within a team.
