Our client, based in WF1, is a family run manufacturing business specialising in felt based products.

They are seeking a Trainee Machine Operative.

The Role:

· Learning aspects of the production process.

· Supporting the machine operatives whilst learning.

· Completing basic order paper work

· Checking quality of products

· Some lifting of finished product up to 25KG

· Adhering to all H&S at all times.

· Other general duties as outlined by supervisor

Please note this role is within an industrial environment and will require some housekeeping to keep work area safe & tidy; also to prepare for each new order through the manufacturing process.

Hours of work:

Monday to Friday whilst training 08.00am-16.00pm after training fixed Monday-Friday 14.00pm-22.00pm shift- pay rate increases after 12 weeks if gone permanent with the company.

PLEASE note to apply for this job you must have an in date FLT licence (we do not accept in house licences for these positions)

Pay & Benefits

Basic Rate paid at £11.44 per hour and overtime at 1.5 after 48 hours worked.
