Location: Manchester City Centre, Hybrid

Full Time: Permanent

Salary: Up to £50k DOE plus bonus

We have the privilege of working with a rapidly growing Tech startup company based in Manchester who is currently revolutionising the professional services sector.

This is a unique opportunity to join a company who has experienced enviable success since launching.

We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer “who lives and breathes” coding and is passionate about their work and stays up to date with current trends.

You will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining back-end software applications and will work closely with a dynamic team of developers, contributing to the design, implementation, and integration of software solutions.

The Role:

• Develop, test, and maintain back-end software applications.


• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless integration.


• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.


• Troubleshoot and debug software applications to ensure optimal performance.


• Data manipulation and analysis.


• Follow the development lifecycle and release process for production implementations and fixes.


• Requirements gathering, analysis, effort estimation, and solution design.


• Conduct code reviews and provide recommendations and advise on changes.


• Implement code fixes into production as per the release process.


• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices.

Who are we looking for?

• Proven experience with Python, AWS, API development and Creating services.


• Someone who is responsible for the functional and non-functional requirements of the product.
  
  Able to design and document SaaS solutions.


• Ability to develop and implement unit tests.
  
  Frameworks and associated automated test cases.


• Ability to review and debug code to identify defects, performance bottlenecks etc.


• Experience interfacing between the various teams / relevant stakeholders to refine best practices and approach.


• Proven experience working in a highly agile working environments.
