Healthcare Assistant - Agency

At Cefn Carnau we provide a low secure/locked rehabilitation service for adults with a diagnosis of a learning disability who may also present with mental illness, personality disorders and an autistic spectrum condition.

Our service, located close to the centres of both Caerphilly and Cardiff, offers an eight bedded ward for females and a six and eight bedded wards for males.

The team at Cefn Carnau listen to individual needs and provide person-centred care, adopting a least restrictive approach whilst promoting independence.

They follow a Positive Behavioural Support (PBS) model which enables the individual to be fully involved in their care and treatment plans.  

The service supports rehabilitation, social inclusion and reintegration into the local community. 

There is a full Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) which consists of Qualified Nurses and Healthcare Assistants, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Psychologist and Psychiatrist based on site.

Additional services such as Speech and Language Therapy, and Dietetics are also available as required.  

We do also have some other location where you can also pick up shifts. 

Requirements:

6 months UK experience 

In date and relevant training (All Mandatory and PMVA)
