Senior Production Operator

Electromech Assembler / Fitter

Urgent temporary requirement for up to 3 staff.

Very busy manufacturing company are looking for up to 3 experienced assembler / fitters to join their friendly manufacturing team.

The work is electro-mechanical in nature and will require good hand soldering skills as well as the use of mechanical jigs and fixtures.

This would be bench-work based building small electro-mechanical assemblies.

Some of the work will involve plastic components as well as small metal brackets and clips.

The electronic side will include attaching wires to PCBs as well as mounting of “through hole” and “surface mount” components.

You will be using all standard hand tools such as pliers, screwdrivers, spanners, cutters, clamps and basic jigs.

You will be working from drawings and verbal instructions.

Productivity is important and so you may be asked for your support in making the production processes more efficient.

What you will need to have before applying.

• At least 3 years assembly experience.


• Some form of training.


• Good hand soldering skills.


• Good mechanical dexterity.


• Have a good attention to detail.


• The ability to work well as a small production team.
  
  


• Be familiar with efficient production line techniques.
