Consultant Psychiatrist - Older Adult Mental Health

THE POSITION

As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for the psychiatric and medical assessment and treatment of patients.

You will provide clinical leadership, coordination, and direction to a multi-disciplinary team delivering evidence-based best practice treatment within a recovery-oriented model.

This role involves working within the Older Adult Program (OAP) which provides a range of mental health services to the elderly, including inpatient, community, and therapy services, across multiple locations.

This is a Recruitment Pool for various appointment types, including Permanent Full Time, Permanent Part Time, Fixed Term Full Time, Fixed Term Part Time, Casual, and Sessional, with the possibility of extension(s).

• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZAP)


• Registered medical practitioner with specialist AHPRA registration
