Job Title: Behaviour Room Manager


Location: Manchester, Greater Manchester


Job Type: Full-time, permanent


Salary: £125-£160/day DOE


Job Description:


We are seeking an experienced and proactive Behaviour Room Manager to join adedicated team at a superb school based in Manchester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the behaviour room and providing support to students who require additional guidance and intervention to stay on track with their learning.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage the Behaviour Room, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for students

  • Implement behaviour management strategies to support students

  • Work closely with teachers and teaching assistants to identify and address underlying issues contributing to student behaviour

  • Monitor and record student progress, tracking student data and making recommendations for future support

  • Liaise with parents and carers to keep them informed of their child's progress and any issues

  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, helping them to develop self-awareness, self-regulation, and resilience skills

  • Maintain accurate records and complete administrative tasks as required


Requirements:



  • Experience working with children with complex needs and challenging behaviour

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents

  • Ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to behaviour management challenges

  • Experience working in a secondary school setting or similar environment


Desirable Qualifications:



  • NVQ Level 3 in Behaviour Management / Teaching Assistant or equivalent

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
