Butcher

Are you an experienced butcher looking for a new role?

We are currently recruiting for a qualified butcher to come and join a fantastic team based in a beautiful area of Devon, with occasional need to cover the other butcher desks in the area.

Working Sunday to Thursday on one of two shifts 0700 to 1530 or 930 till 1800.

Working in the hub of their business you'll ideally have skills and experience in both retail and production butchery techniques and also possess a willingness to learn new skills.

We are looking for someone who can help develop the production portfolio particularly cured meats so if you have the relevant butchery qualifications this would be a great opportunity.



About you:
Experience of working in a retail and/or production butchery, ideally with relevant qualification

Energetic, self-motivated and reliable

A good communicator, with excellent customer service skills

Flexible approach to work as hours will vary

Passion for good food and cooking

Knowledge and practical experience of working with food safety standards

Basic level IT skills, training on the relevant system will be provided
