A North London based Local Authority are looking for a Social Worker to join their Referral and Assessment service team.

As part of the Assessment Service, the role entails providing exceptional casework and services to vulnerable children and families.

This involves safeguarding children, promoting their well-being, and striving to enhance their outcomes.

Core responsibilities include conducting thorough child and family assessments, as well as section 47 enquiries, in order to accurately evaluate the needs and risks involved.

Additionally, the position requires the formulation of SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, Time-bound) plans for children subject to Child in Need (CIN), Child Protection (CP), and Looked After Children (LAC) statuses, with a focus on facilitating positive development and support.
