Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM/2 pm -10 pm 1 Saturday a month

Our client is dedicated to providing a safe, compliant, and supportive housing environment for young people.

Our client is seeking a diligent and motivated Housing Management Officer to join their team, ensuring our properties meet high standards and our residents receive the best possible support.

Housing Management Officer Key Responsibilities:



  • Arrange and facilitate access for all health and safety compliance inspections.

  • Oversee gas servicing, fire risk assessments, electrical testing, legionella assessments, asbestos surveys, and fire service inspections.



  • Perform monthly fire safety checklists for each property.

  • Report concerns to maintenance/landlords and ensure remedial actions are taken.

  • Weekly fire alarm testing and scheduling of six-monthly evacuations where fire alarms are installed.

  • Maintain records and store checklists on OMNI.



  • Raise and follow up on repairs and maintenance to ensure property standards are met.

  • Escalate concerns to relevant persons when necessary.

  • Engage in joint working with support workers.



Qualifications and Experience:



  • Previous experience in a Housing Management role.

  • Valid driver's license, own vehicle, and business insurance.

  • Enhanced DBS certification.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and engage in lone working situations.



The Package
This is a temporary, Housing Management worker role,40 hours per week for an initial 3 months, covering the recruitment process for a permanent team member, meaning the role could be extended, or become permanent.
