CNC Machinist – Duties:

- Set up and run CNC machines to perform tasks such as turning, milling, and drilling
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine machine set-up and production methods
- Supervising other CNC Machinists
- Inspect and measure finished products to ensure they meet the required specifications
- Program CNC machines using G-code and CAD/CAM software
- Monitor machine operations to detect any problems and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to safety procedures and regulations
- Setting up CNC machines for production runs
- Programming CNC machines using G-code and CAD/CAM software.
- Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy
- Training and supervising junior machinists and machine operators.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

 

CNC Machinist – Requirements:

- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or similar role
- Proficiency in CNC programming, setting, and operation
- Familiarity with G-code programming and CAD/CAM software
- Strong attention to detail and precision as a CNC Machinist
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of safe working practices and procedures as a CNC Machinist

 

CNC Machinist – Salary & Benefits:

- Up to £40,000pa
- Mon – Fri 40hrs a week
- Holiday + Bank Holidays
- Overtime available
