Our partner is looking for a Software Engineer to join their highly skilled team of engineers dedicated to developing cutting-edge electro-optical systems and image processing software.

Key Responsibilities: for the Software Engineer:

- Design, develop, and test application software for video capture, processing, and system control, including user interfaces.
- Provide technical support and integration assistance to international customers.
- Generate and review system specification documents.
- Prepare test documentation and unit tests in a continuous integration environment.
- Perform bug fixing.

 
Key Skills & Experience for the Software Engineer:

Essential:

- Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.
- Experience in C++ application development for Windows or Linux using IDEs like Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Enthusiastic team player with the ability to work independently.
- Adaptable in a fast-changing agile environment.

 Desirable:

- Experience with Electro Optic Sensors such as TV and IR cameras.
- Experience in video processing or developing computer vision algorithms.
- Development of graphical user interfaces using OpenGL.
- Knowledge of CUDA, OpenCV, and other GPU computing technologies.
- Understanding of AI/ML techniques, including deep learning.
- Familiarity with network and serial-based communication protocols.
- Experience deploying and debugging software on real-world hardware solutions.
- Understanding of closed-loop control systems.
- Video streaming application development.
- Experience working directly with customers.
