This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Finance Manager to join a group that seeks to build a diversified portfolio of high-potential beauty and wellness brands.

The Finance Manager will support the CFO in the day-to-day running of the finance department whilst liaising with the external accountants.

The ideal Finance Manager will be a fully qualified accountant and ready to hit the ground running.

Job Description

• Support the CFO streamlining and implementing business controls and financial management processes across all areas.
• Supervise financial administration working closely with 3rd party accounting team, encompassing creditor and debtor management, stock and invoicing across all brands.
• Support the CFO improving finance processes and systems and deploy to the teams.
• Lead the month-end process from start to finish and help the CFO to produce a full set of management accounts on a monthly basis.
• Coordinate with other departments for month-end reporting and P&L reviews per and introduce a Business Partnering process.
• Support the CFO by producing monthly performance packs for the Board and Shareholders.
• Create and lead the company’s annual budget and mid-year reforecasts, working cross-functionally to deliver robust, lean forecasts Manage daily and weekly operating cash flow reporting, as well as cash flow forecasts and payment runs.
• Work directly with the Brand and Sales leaders to ensure we make better and faster decisions that impact the top and bottom line.
  
  Including working on retailer negotiations, brand pricing, media mix modelling, etc.
• Lead financial analysis on new projects and initiatives including brand launches, market entry decisions, new innovations.
• Support the CFO in reducing SG&A base and task-relevant teams to find savings.
• Ensure compliance with statutory tax obligations, and work with the third-party advisors to ensure timely and accurate reporting across indirect and direct tax.
  
  Managing any tax return matter – Sales Tax, EU VAT, UK VAT.
• Support the CFO overseeing the production by our 3rd party accountants of the group’s annual financial statements and ensure that they are  signed and filed to meet Investor, bank and regulatory filing deadlines.
• Own the group monthly consolidation to ensure the group management accounts are produced on a timely basis to the founders and key stakeholders.
• Work with the CFO and the Fund Administrator Firm to ensure that we are meeting all compliance and regulatory commitments across our Ventures portfolio.

The Ideal Candidate

• 3-5 years relevant experience in high growth companies.
• Qualified or finalist chartered accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Deep all-round knowledge of Finance systems and processes (e.g.
  
  bank reconciliations, purchase ledger, balance sheet recs, month-end close).
• Self-driven with a proactive, keen appreciation for accuracy and attention to details.
• Highly adaptable and fast learner, adept at implementing changes and delivering high level output within competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Ability to deliver finance messages to non-finance people.
• Excellent planning, time management and organizational skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience in the beauty and wellness industry is a plus.
