Location: Qatar
Package: 13,500 - 14,500 QAR per month, plus accommodation, expat benefits etc.
I'm currently supporting a luxury hospitality group, over in Qatar, with their search for a Japanese Chef de Cuisine.
The group have a global footprint, and they are now actively looking to bring on-board an experienced Chef de Cuisine to oversee & manage all BOH & Culinary operations for one of their Michelin recognised venues.
The restaurant specialises primarily in small sharing dishes, sushi, tempura and the unique culinary art of Robata - so we're ideally looking for those who are well trained & experienced in Japanese culinary techniques.
This role will report directly into the Executive Sous Chef, and in short you'll be assisting in the running of the kitchen, contributing to the overall success of the hotel, in accordance with the hotel’s standards and financial goals.
You will also be responsible for leading a wider BOH team consisting of: Sous Chefs, CDPs, Demi CDPs, & Commis.
Ideally we're looking for those who have a strong background working within high-end, fine-dining venues, and those with prior GCC experience will strongly be preferred.
What's on offer:
- Working hours: 48 hours a week with 2 days off.
- Basic salary: QAR 13,500 - 14,500 per month.
- Meals: Provided in the colleague's outlet (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 7 days per week).
- Accommodation: 1-bedroom fully furnished apartment – 3-5 min walking distance from the hotel.
- Paid vacation: 28 calendar days per year, 8 public holidays, 3 white days.
- Medicals: Private Insurance.
- Vacation ticket: round trip every year to the home country.
- Rate: £2.6k - 2.8k per month + accommodation, benefits etc.
