Sommelier - 5* Estate

MLR are seeking a deeply passionate and aspiring Sommelier/ Wine connoisseur to join one of Irelands most prestigious and exclusive 5

* establishments based in County Kerry.

As Sommelier, you will possess the skills, knowledge and experience to deliver an exceptional wine program and will work closely with the culinary team to create wine and food pairings that enhance the overall dining experience.

You will work with the team to uphold the highest standards of wine service, including proper decanting, presentation, and glassware selection.

As well as being passionate about wine, you will use your bright personality and charm to relate and form strong rapport with all hotel guests, ensuring they have an unforgettable experience and come back time and time again asking for you!

Within this role, you will be in the envious position of working in Irelands largest wine cellar, ensuring it is maintained and keeping it in pristine condition.

WSET Level 2 or similar qualification is desirable as is previous experience working in fine dining establishments or Michelin-starred restaurants, with a focus on wine service.
