What you need to succeed



  • MSc / MEng in Civil Engineering

  • A commitment to the pursuit of becoming a chartered professional and continuous professional development (CPD).

  • Experience in the use of hydraulic modelling software, such as MicroDrainage.

  • Experience in residential road and levels design.

  • Experience in the regulatory approvals process for drainage and highways.

    For example, Section 106 and Section 278 type applications.

  • Possess a strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office

  • Strong numerical, analysis and design skills.

  • Planned and organised in your approach to work and meeting deadlines.

  • Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.

  • Previous post graduate experience would be an advantage, but not essential.

  • A full driver's licence would be an advantage.

  • A well-mannered and professional individual with a positive ‘can do' attitude
