1:1 Learning Mentor

Integra Education are seeking a 1:1 learning mentor to play a crucial role in providing tailored support to a pupil with SEN.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-to-one support to a pupil with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals


• Assist with the preparation of learning materials and adapt resources to meet the pupil's needs


• Build relationships with pupils and promote positive behaviour

Requirements:

• Prior experience working with children with SEN, either in a school setting, care environment, or similar, is essential


• A genuine interest in supporting children with SEN and a commitment to making a positive difference in their lives


• A solid understanding of different types of SEN, including learning disabilities, sensory impairments, emotional and behavioral disorders, and physical disabilities, is crucial


• A genuine passion for education and a desire to support young learners' academic and personal development


• DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one
