Major Works Programme Manager

Service Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Major Works Programme Manager to join our client team in Sutton.


This is a key role that requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in housing refurbishment contracts and a strong background in contract management.


Key Responsibilities:




  • Surveying Expertise: Leverage over 5 years of experience in planned and capital works surveying within housing refurbishment contracts to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality projects.

  • Team Management: Manage and lead a team of 8+ technical staff members, ensuring optimal performance, development, and alignment with project goals.

  • Contract Management: Utilize your robust contract management background in housing refurbishment within local authorities or housing associations to oversee the full project lifecycle.

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple housing refurbishment contracts/projects ranging in value from £150k to £25 million, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

  • Procurement Leadership: Take charge of housing refurbishment contracts procurement, working closely with stakeholders to secure the best value and quality for all projects.



Requirements:



  • Experience: A minimum of 5+ years in planned/capital works surveying within housing refurbishment.

  • Management Skills: Proven experience in managing a technical team of 8+ members.

  • Contract Management: Background in managing housing refurbishment contracts, ideally within a local authority or housing association context.

  • Project Experience: Demonstrated ability to lead multiple high-value contracts/projects successfully.

  • Procurement Expertise: Experience in leading procurement processes for large-scale housing refurbishment projects.
