Position: AutoCad Design Technician - Windows & Doors

Location: Dublin 12/Hybrid

Salary: Neg DOE

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with design teams to fully understand commercial project requirements.


• Attend meetings with design teams as required.


• Produce detailed technical working drawings to obtain design team approval.


• Carry out site surveys as required.


• Generate and submit orders for procurement of all project materials, metal, glass, associated component, etc.


• Prepare schedules and cutting lists for product production.


• Liaise with site team for seamless project execution.


• Provide support in the submission of project technical documentation.

Requirements:

• Proficient in AutoCAD LT and widow designer software such as Logikal or equivalent.


• Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience working in the commercial façade/glazing industry.


• Experience in preparing building interface details of glazing systems such as APA & AMS system.


• Good knowledge of current building regulations and standards.


• Self-motivated with ability to work on own initiative.
