The client is now seeking an Assistant Financial Controller to join their team.

The Role

As Assistant Financial Controller, you will manage daily financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and preparing financial reports.

They ensure accurate accounting practices, oversee accounts payable/receivable, and monitor the hotel's financial performance.

Additionally, they assist in strategic financial planning and compliance with regulatory standards.

What they are looking for:

• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within a hotel
• Bachelor’s degree in finance/Accounting an asset
• Expertise in economics, accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in basic computer use, mathematics, financial resource management, and critical thinking for data analysis
• Understanding of business management, purchasing, resource allocation, and customer service principles
