Property Litigation Solicitor

This is an unusual opportunity which will suit a litigator who is looking for challenging and varied work, but in a role that they can immerse themselves within a thriving sector and work for high quality clients.

Whilst it has its foundations within property Litigation this role doesn't focus on dilapidations and lease renewals, that is a small part of the work that you would do and this role offers much more variety, it would suit someone who likes thinking creatively, and doesn't always want to work within their comfort zone, someone who wants challenging work.

You would work with high-net-worth individuals, property developers and household names in addition to private clients and internal teams on all kinds of property litigation matters.

Working closely with the transactional teams, providing support and risk management advice in both the pre-contract and post-contract/pre-completion phases.

This Property Litigation Solicitor role is varied, ranging from development contract disputes, option agreements, section 25 and 26 notices, section 8 and 21 notices, claims under the dilapidations protocol, break notices, adverse possession claims and boundary disputes, to name a few.

For the clients these matters are largely highly business sensitive and therefore often requires you to deal with senior people within the business, it is important that you are confident in doing so, although they are clear that they don't expect you to know everything, and there will be ongoing training and development!

Ideally you will have strong litigation experience, at least some of which has been developed within a property setting but are looking for something that offers great scope and flexibility, both within the work and the working methods and patters.

The practice is really invested in this sector, you would be dealing with many of the largest and most established clients and be at the core of what they do.

They will be properly invested in both your development and the development of the practice itself, meaning that there is massive opportunity within this Property Litigation Solicitor role.

The atmosphere across the office and the practice is excellent too.
