SEN Primary Teaching Assistant

Integra Education is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support and motivate a student, helping them achieve their full potential and excel both academically and personally.

You will work 15 hours per week from the family home, supporting a primary-aged pupil.

This role involves a 2:1 ratio, collaborating alongside another Teaching Assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Help the student build social skills, nurture positive relationships, and manage emotions, while providing a calm and supportive presence during challenging situations


• Tailored support for the pupil to address their specific needs


• Transport the young person to and from their activities


• Create and execute activities tailored to the pupil's interests


• Working Monday to Friday from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM

Requirements:

• A thorough understanding of various SEN conditions, including ASD


• Previous experience with EHCP


• A steady, patient, and compassionate manner


• DBS on the update service is required
