Employment Paralegal

This is a fantastic legal opportunity for a skilled Employment Paralegal to join a small team in an established Leeds based Law firm.



The role will involve assisting the Head of Department with complex contentious employment law matters (predominantly private or insurance backed claimant work) and managing an employment law case load (under supervision).



The team advises directors, trustees, bursars, headteachers and Human Resources managers on all aspects of Employment Law, including TUPE, Restructures, Employee Relations, Contracts, Employee Handbooks, Directors' Service Agreements and Settlement Agreements.



The Candidate:



  • You will be undertaking fee earning work and therefore prior experience of handling your own employment caseload within the legal sector is essential.

  • You will have a competent understanding of Employment Law and the Employment Tribunal process and advising clients in relation to settlement agreements.

  • You will be a Paralegal with a minimum of 2 years' legal experience of dealing with contentious Employment Law matters (as a guide).



Salary



  • £23,000 to £26,000 depending on experience.
