Cover Supervisor

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Cover Supervisor based in Warrington.

The Cover Supervisor will be responsible for providing classroom management and instruction in the absence of the regular teacher.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the classroom effectively to ensure a positive and conducive learning environment.


• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans or activities to students, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.


• Oversee students during lesson times, breaks, and other school activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.


• Maintain open and effective communication with staff regarding student progress, behaviour, and concerns.


• Keep accurate records of attendance, behaviour incidents, and relevant information.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience working with students with SEND and/or SEMH desirable


• Strong classroom management skills.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Patience, empathy, and understanding.


• Flexibility and adaptability.
