The client is now seeking an experienced Internal Audit Manager

The Role

As Internal Audit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and conducting audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations, operational standards, and internal policies.

They will identify risks, recommend improvements, and work closely with management to enhance overall financial and operational efficiency within the hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing the annual risk assessment, support audit plan development, and periodically report to the Head of Internal Audit and the Audit Committee 
• Plan, manage, and execute audits across the group, ensuring effective audit processes and clear communication with management
• Direct, supervise, and coach the internal audit team during various engagements
• Prepare and review audit reports, ensuring findings are communicated and corrective actions are appraised
• Identify control weaknesses, recommend enhancements, and promote best practices for system improvements

What they are looking for:

• 5+ years of relevant audit experience in a hotel establishment
• Hospitality background
• Strong proficiency in report writing, especially for PowerPoint presentations.
• Highly dynamic, proactive, and capable of working independently or collaboratively with professionals at all organizational levels.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet competing deadlines.
