Duty Solicitor

Service Care Solutions are working alongside an known Law firm, based in Leeds , which needs a Duty Solicitor to join its team.

ROLE: Duty Solicitor

LOCATION: Leeds Office/Hybrid

Salary: £42,000 - £45,000 annually

Responsibilities:

• Represent defendants during hearings at the magistrates' court, often in the early stages of criminal proceedings.


• Offer guidance on criminal charges, the strength of the evidence, and potential consequences.


• Defend clients at bail hearings, first appearances, and sometimes during sentencing.

About you:

• A qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or Barrister with a minimum of 3 years PQE in Criminal Law.


• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work within the team as required
