Forklift Service Engineer - Kent - £30,000 - £38,000

Client:

My client is an industry leader within the forklift sector, covering a number of contracts throughout the South East.

An excellent opportunity has arisen in the Kent area for an experienced Forklift Service Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance and servicing of forklift trucks, ensuring equipment operates efficiently.
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical faults in a timely manner.
Conduct safety inspections and perform pre-emptive maintenance to avoid breakdowns.
Maintain detailed service records and update job sheets for completed work.
Collaborate with other team members and departments to meet service deadlines.
Respond promptly to emergency call-outs and breakdowns, minimizing client downtime.
Provide technical advice and support to customers on-site, ensuring excellent customer service.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations while working in various environments.
Assist in training junior technicians or apprentices as needed.

Requirements:
Previous experience in forklift servicing or a related field.
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Relevant industry qualifications or certifications.
A valid UK driving license.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
