Assistant Project/Contracts Manager

An Assistant Project/Contracts Manager is required for a cladding company to support their projects in Central London.

Important Details:



  • Full-time: £40,000 - £45,000 per year

  • Benefits: Annual bonus, 25 days holiday, car fuel allowance, pension

  • Reporting to: Contracts/Project Manager


Duties:



  • Assist the Contracts and Project Manager, with a view to future progression.

  • Help manage £2 million project packages, organize schedules, and coordinate labour and materials.

  • Communicate effectively with site operatives and stakeholders.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations (e.g., CDM, HSE guidelines).

  • Maintain quality standards and complete QA documentation.

  • Assist in planning work schedules, tracking progress, and preparing reports.

  • Adapt to changes and swiftly address challenges like weather disruptions.


Qualifications Required:



  • Background in Slating, Tiling, Lead Roofing, or Rainscreen Cladding.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Understanding of health & safety regulations and construction methods.

  • Competent in Excel; training provided for other systems.
