Teaching Assistant (TA) required in Year 3 to work with autistic children who have recently joined the school

• Long term role to start this September and to continue long term


• Strong experience working with autistic children required


• Ability to fit in well with a collaborative team of teaching assistants


• Able to establish routines for dysregulated children with additional needs


• Teaching Assistant with patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children


• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic classroom environment

The school is a vibrant Barking primary school with a well-established staff team who are all very positive, especially within the SEN Team.

Teaching Assistants should have experience working with SEN children in KS2 and have good knowledge of autism.
