Manufacturing Labourer

We are seeking a temporary labourer to assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of our workshop and surrounding areas.

The role includes supporting the on-site Maintenance Engineers with basic tasks and ensuring the overall upkeep of the facility.

This position is a 4-week rolling contract, with the potential for extension based on business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness of the maintenance workshop.


• Empty waste bins and properly segregate waste into the correct recycling bins.


• Assist Maintenance Engineers with simple on-site tasks.


• Move office and shop floor furniture as required.


• Perform minor cosmetic painting tasks.


• Keep the rear yard and main entrance to buildings clean and presentable.


• Carry out minor maintenance tasks, such as forklift (FLT) battery top-ups and company vehicle checks.


• If FLT licensed, assist in moving larger items within the workshop and yard.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Previous experience in a labouring or maintenance support role is preferred.


• FLT license (desirable but not essential).


• Ability to carry out minor maintenance and cleaning tasks efficiently.


• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.


• Must be reliable and able to work independently or as part of a team.


• Able to pass a BPSS Security Check
