1:1 Teaching Assistant - At The Family Home

Integra Education is seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to support and inspire a student, helping them realise their potential and excel both academically and personally.

You will be based in the family home working with a primary aged pupil, working 15 hours a week.

It will be a 2-1 ratio, along side another Teaching Assistant.

Due to the pupils requirements we are looking for a Male Learning Mentor for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the student in developing social skills, fostering positive relationships, and managing emotions, while offering a calm and supportive presence during difficult situations


• Customised support to the pupil to meet their needs


• To drive the young person to and from their activities


• Design and implement activities based on the pupil's interests


• Working Monday to Friday 10:30 till 13:30

Requirements:

• A strong background and understanding of SEN


• Previous experiences with EHCP


• A composed, patient, and empathetic approach


• DBS on the update service or a readiness to acquire one
