Drivers Mate

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Driver's Mate to join our client's team.

In this role, you will assist the delivery driver in loading, unloading, and delivering goods safely to various locations.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working on the road, interacting with customers, and supporting the efficient delivery of goods.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods, ensuring items are handled with care


• Work with the driver to deliver exceptional customer service


• Communicate effectively with customers during deliveries, providing a friendly and professional service


• Assist in maintaining vehicle cleanliness and report any issues to the driver or supervisor

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, customer-focused attitude


• Good physical fitness, as this role involves manual handling


• Ability to work in a team and support the driver during busy delivery schedules


• Flexibility with working hours and able to adapt to different shift patterns


• Previous experience in a delivery or logistics role is an advantage but not essential
