Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Education/Dance Teacher to join our clients team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting physical fitness, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and fostering a love for sports among students.

This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to educate students effectively while managing behaviour in a positive and supportive manner.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging physical education curricula that meet the needs of all students.


• Teach various sports and physical activities, ensuring students understand the rules, techniques, and strategies involved.


• Foster a safe and inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students, regardless of their skill level.


• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.


• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their development.


• Collaborate with other educators to integrate physical education into the broader curriculum.


• Organise and supervise extracurricular sports activities and events, promoting teamwork and school spirit.


• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and behaviour in physical education classes.

Experience

• A degree in Physical Education or a related field is preferred.


• A relevant teaching qualification (QTS)


• Previous experience in teaching or coaching sports is advantageous.


• Strong organisational skills to plan lessons and manage classroom activities effectively.


• Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues.


• A solid understanding of behaviour management techniques within an educational setting.


• Proficiency in English is essential for effective instruction and communication.
