Quality Inspector & Continuous Improvement Coordinator - Up to £32,000/year

(4-day working week)

Here is a fantastic opportunity for a Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing team in Salford to help manage and perform continuous improvement activities, contribute to the safety & quality procedures and chamption the CI programme.

Responsibilities:

• Execute specific inspections on precision engineered & electrical components.


• Manually inspect product with handheld measurement tools such as Vernier's, Height gauges and shadow graphs.


• Approve incoming goods/materials by confirming specifications, visual inspections.


• Assist in designing and delivering a continuous improvement programme.


• Conduct and report Lean system implementation audits.


• Support 5s activities.

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a manufacturing/Engineering environment.


• Previous experience in deployment of Continuous Improvement & Lean projects.


• Familiarity with First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR).


• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO14001, OHSAS 18001 management systems.


• Familiar with 5S.
