Working Hours: Monday to Thursday: 7:40 AM - 4:00 PM | Friday: 7:40 AM - 2:00 PM
Overtime: Time and a half for overtime hours

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced MIG & TIG Welder on behalf of a reputable high-end and bespoke furniture manufacturer based in Elland.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a thriving environment where quality craftsmanship is at the forefront of production.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in welding with experience in MIG and TIG techniques, ideally in the production of bespoke products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on high-end bespoke furniture items and components.
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics to complete welding tasks with precision.
• Ensure that welding work meets the company's high-quality standards.
• Operate and maintain welding equipment in accordance with safety regulations.
• Work effectively with other team members to ensure efficient production.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in MIG and TIG welding, ideally within a manufacturing or furniture production setting.
• Experience working with high-end, bespoke products is desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality work.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage workload effectively.
• Ideally, candidates will have experience in a similar role, but we are open to those looking to advance their welding skills in a bespoke production environment.

• Salary: £13.50 - £14.50 per hour, based on experience.
• Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:40 AM to 4:00 PM and Friday 7:40 AM to 2:00 PM.
• Overtime: Time and a half for overtime.
• Contract: This is a temp-to-perm position, providing the opportunity for long-term employment.
• Location: Elland, West Yorkshire.
