Your Role As A Mechanical Fitter Will Include:



* Mechanical Fitter


* Working on a range of plant machinery, including fixed plants, to ensure smooth and efficient operation.




* Maintaining and repairing crushers, shredders, conveyors, and rollers to minimise downtime and enhance performance.




* Operating and loading machinery such as shivers and backactors as part of day-to-day tasks.




* Providing hands-on mechanical support across various equipment to maintain high operational standards.




* Collaborating with the team to identify and resolve technical issues promptly.




The Successful Mechanical Fitter Will Have:



* Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter with a strong mechanical bias.




* Hands-on experience working with screeners, crushers, and other plant machinery.




* A background in agriculture or similar fields, with familiarity in operating heavy equipment.




* Skilled in maintaining and repairing a variety of machinery, including loaders, backactors, and JCBs.




* Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently and effectively


* Commutable to Scunthorpe
