Senior Estimator

A steel company is currently looking for a Senior Estimator to join their team in Ashford, Kent.

Important Details:

Full-time: £55,000 - £65,000 per year + package (health benefits, pension scheme, performance bonus scheme)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 5:00pm

Duties:

• Estimate structural and architectural metalwork by analysing project drawings, specifications, and tender documents.


• Prepare accurate estimates within tight deadlines.


• Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to senior management.


• Attend site meetings for initial project and pre-start discussions.


• Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new clients.


• Secure project bids through negotiation and value engineering.

Qualifications Required:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as an estimator in the metalwork industry


• Meticulous attention to detail


• Strong understanding of construction drawings and steelwork specifications


• Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel


• Excellent communication and organisational skills
