Data Engineer - Leading Software House - United Kingdom

About the Role: We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Engineer on behalf of our client, a leading Software House.

This is a fully remote position, offering the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and contribute to exciting projects in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes.


• Utilise AWS services to manage and optimise data storage, processing, and analytics.


• Implement and manage AWS QuickSight for data visualisation and reporting.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.


• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across all data systems.


• Identify and implement best practices for data engineering and continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications:

• AWS Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS services.


• AWS QuickSight: At least 1 year of experience using AWS QuickSight for data visualisation.


• Programming: Minimum of 5 years of programming experience in languages such as Python, Java, or similar.


• ETL Processes: At least 1 year of experience in designing and managing ETL processes.


• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with other data visualisation tools.


• Familiarity with additional AWS services and cloud technologies.


• Background in software development or engineering.

Location: Remote Working UK

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 + Bonus + Pension + Benefits
