Your new role includes:



  • Machine Setup: Set up and calibrate CNC machines according to production requirements and specifications.

  • Program Loading: Load and input CNC programs into the machine, ensuring accuracy and proper execution.

  • Material Selection: Select appropriate materials for machining and ensure they are properly loaded and secured.

  • Machine Operation: Operate CNC machines to produce parts, ensuring smooth and efficient production processes.

  • Quality Control: Monitor part quality during production, performing regular inspections using gauges, calipers, or other tools.

  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues with machines or parts, performing basic troubleshooting and adjustments.

  • Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of CNC machines to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, and any maintenance performed.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, production teams, and supervisors to meet project deadlines and specifications.


Experience you need:



  • 3+ years in the window and door industry operating a CNC Machine

  • Proficient English

  • Read and interpret CAD Drawings

  • Setting up programs.

  • Experienced in tool change and machine optimization

  • Double and Single head miter experience

  • Rip/Bench saw

  • Experienced in calibration

  • Technically competent

  • Quality checks

  • Knowledge of Aluminium Window & Door, Stick and Unitised fabrication and assembly
