A traditional, community based independent Opticians based in Romford, East London, are looking for a part time Optometrist working 2-3 days a week (No weekends)

Optometrist- Role

• 100% independently owned


• Established over 50 years ago


• 2 testing rooms


• Exceptional reputation in the area


• New Directors with ambitious plans


• 30 minute testing times


• Pre-screening done by support team


• Equipment - Focimeter, Frame Ruler, Visual Field Test, Tonometer, Distance Test chart for adults, A distance test chart for children / non-English / learning disability, Trial lenses and accessories, Trial frame, Retinoscope, Ophthalmoscope, Distance binocular vision test, Near Binocular vision test, Slit lamp, Volk lens, Near reading chart, Amsler Grid, Colour vision test, Stereopsis test, Fundus Camera.


• Optinet Flex PMS


• Working 2-3 days a week - Tues, Thur and Fri


• Typical working hours from 9am to 5pm


• Salary between £55,000 to £65,000

Optometrist - Requirements

• Fully qualified Optomtrist registered with the GOC


• Excellent communication skills


• Enthusiastic about high quality service


• Balance between clinical and commercial skills


• Team player
