Mechanical Site Supervisor

Role: Mechanical Supervisor


Location: Dublin


Salary: Negotiable DOE



Our client are recruiting for experienced Mechanical Site Supervisors to join their team for a number of projects across the Greater Dublin area.






Duties and Responsibilities:







  • Using our Construction Software Package, Procore to study and analyse blueprints and floor plans to understand all aspects of the mechanical design layout.

  • Highlight any issue at prestart meetings held with Senior Project Manager.

  • Oversee the installation of pipes and fixtures, such as sinks and toilets, for water, gas, steam, air, or other liquids.

  • Leading the site operative and apprentice teams, with the support of the Operations Manager.

  • Liaise with contractors, managers, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all parties remain co-ordinated.

  • Educating site operatives on construction safety and accident protocols.

  • Inspect sites regularly to identify and eliminate potential safety hazards.

  • Handle site accidents in accordance with accident protocol.

  • Keeping detailed records of construction site activities.

  • Dealing with staff and sub-contractors and ensuring quality workmanship is met at all times in line with companies Quality Assurance Standards.

  • Raise a notice to the main contractor for all on site issues and holdups that you may incur.

  • Familiarise yourself with the ordering of materials and delivery logistics with the procurement team.

  • Oversee all testing and commissioning at the request of the SPM, QA and commissioning team.

  • Capture all RFI's, Damage, theft and out of scope work through Procore.

  • Adhere to any health and safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of self, staff and visitors.

  • Ensure that all company standards and policies are followed and maintained at all times.

  • Any other duties as requested or required by the Manager or Senior Management Team.






Person Specification:







  • The ideal candidate will be a Time Served Plumber.

  • Have experience working in a similar Site Supervisory position.

  • Be a strong communicator both written and orally.

  • Have the ability to work under pressure to deliver and meet project deadlines.

  • Possess a good working knowledge of Microsoft Applications.

  • Hold a full clean driving licence.

  • Be open and flexible to travel across various companies project sites.

  • The candidate must hold valid safety documents.
