About the Health Service

This hospital is an 18-bed acute medical facility, including palliative care, with a busy Emergency Department seeing approximately 300 patients per month.

The service also includes a well-integrated Community Health Service, visiting specialists, and medical imaging support.

Accredited for advanced rural and general practice training, the hospital offers a supportive environment for continuous professional development, education, and research.

Position Details

As a Visiting Medical Officer (General Practice), you will:

  Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in line with HNELHD requirements.

  Deliver admitting, consultative, diagnostic, procedural, outpatient, and telehealth services.

  Participate in clinical handover, supervision, and teaching responsibilities.

  Engage in leadership and management activities to enhance hospital operations.

  Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to drive continuous improvements in patient care.

Requirements Qualifications:
