Senior Data Processor
About the Role
This is an opportunity to take ownership of data processing within a specialist team working on hydrographic survey projects.
You'll be responsible for managing data quality, overseeing workflows, and ensuring smooth project delivery.
Alongside the technical aspects, you'll also play a key role in supporting and coordinating the data processing team, making this an excellent position for someone who enjoys leadership responsibilities.
You'll be working on a variety of projects, ensuring high standards of data management while improving processes along the way.

What will you be doing?
- Processing and managing hydrographic survey data, ensuring accuracy and high standards
- Coordinating workflows within the data processing team and ensuring project milestones are met
- Monitoring performance against budgets, schedules, and specifications
- Identifying and managing changes in project scope
- Producing reports and maintaining project documentation
- Supporting the development and improvement of data processing procedures
- Leading and mentoring junior team members to maintain high data quality standards
- Ensuring all work adheres to health, safety, environment, and quality requirements
- Liaising with clients and project stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and delivery
Are you a suitable candidate?
- Strong experience in hydrographic data processing
- Ability to manage and coordinate survey data efficiently
- Experience with industry-standard software such as POSPAC, BeamworX, and CARIS HIPS & SIPS
- A problem-solving mindset with great attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for both technical and client-facing interactions
- The ability to work independently while also supporting and leading a team
- A flexible and proactive approach to managing deadlines and project requirements
