About the Health Service
This health service is a leading provider of comprehensive mental health programs, including inpatient care, community-based services, and outreach programs.

It serves as a regional hub for mental health services, with dedicated teams for forensic, addiction, and child & adolescent psychiatry.

Position Details
As a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist (Psychiatry), you will:




  • Provide high-quality psychiatry services within a multidisciplinary team.




  • Deliver patient-centered care across a range of settings, including community clinics, inpatient units, and outreach services.




  • Support and mentor junior medical officers and contribute to RANZCP-accredited training programs.




  • Play a key role in the ongoing expansion and development of mental health services in the region.





Job Details:




  • Permanent, full-time and part-time options available.




  • Salary: AUD $210,332 - $266,677 per annum.




  • Total remuneration package up to AUD $528,432 per annum.

Requirements
Qualifications:




  • MBBS or equivalent, eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia.




  • Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or equivalent.




  • Eligibility for accreditation as a RANZCP-approved supervisor is desirable.




Essential Skills and Experience:




  • Extensive experience in adult psychiatry and mental health service delivery.




  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.




  • Commitment to evidence-based care and professional growth.




Vaccination Requirements:
